Shanghai elementary school brings in SWAT team to do performance for children

Three days ago Montessori Academy, Binyun Campus released a newsletter sharing photos and video of a SWAT Team performance through their public WeChat. To be specific this was the SWAT Team of Pudong District Special Police Department. This was all made possible with the help of the Jinqiao Police Team. Photos that the school shared captured everything from a gun drill performance to the kids coming in close contact with K9’s and the SWAT special police equipment.

The school reports that this was to “bring children a meaningful exhibition” and that “the children were very excited”. The newsletter goes on to share that the children prepared flowers, their paintings and New Year’s greeting cards for the SWAT team as a thank you. The Jinqiao Police Station also brought all children a bear doll with the tagline “I love SH police” as a gift. The school can confirm “The children truly enjoyed this event.”

什么是SWAT？他们的任务是什么？我们看过很多关于特种部队的电影，但是孩子们真的了解他们存在的目的吗？在金桥派出所的协助安排下，浦东新区特警支队来到我们蒙世学堂碧云园，为孩子们带来了一场有意义的展示活动。孩子们非常兴奋。

What is SWAT? What are their mission? We had seen a lot of movies about special force but do the children truly understand their purpose? With the assistance of Jinqiao Police Team, the SWAT Team of Pudong District Special Police Department came to Montessori Academy Biyun campus, bringing children a meaningful exhibition. The children were very excited.

首先是威武帅气的特警叔叔们带来的枪操表演。
The first was the gun drill performance brought by the dedicated and smart looking SWAT Team officers.

而后是我们缉毒犬和防暴犬的展示环节，表演寻物和对抗坏人。

Then there was the performance of our K9, performing the search and fighting against the criminal.

接下来是特警叔叔们给大家介绍了特警器械装备，并邀请我们的小朋友，近距离接触特警器械装备。小朋友们也可以跟警犬近距离的接触。

Next was the SWAT Team officers to introduce special police equipment, and invited our children to have a close contact with special equipment. Children also had close contact with K9.

 

幼儿园的小朋友们为感谢特警叔叔们带给他们的表演，特地准备了鲜花，他们自己画的画和新年祝福卡片送给他们。金桥派出所的叔叔阿姨们也给小朋友带来了穿着带有I love SH police的小熊玩偶作为礼物。

In order to thank the SWAT Team of their performances, the children prepared flowers, their paintings and New Year’s greeting cards for them. Jinqiao Police Station also brought all children a bear doll with the tagline “I love SH police” as a gift.
